Changes for HSC
From 1 July 2012 a new Health Promotion Agency (HPA) will take over the functions of HSC, ALAC, and relevant functions of the Ministry of Health.
The Crown Entities Reform Bill, which enables these changes,was referred to the Government Administration Select Committee, which reported back to the House at the end of March 2012. The legislation is expected to be passed in May or June 2012.
